Job Description

Griffithamp; Associates is a financial planning firm in Calgary, Alberta. In almost 2 decades, they have grown to be one of Calgary #39;s top firms, specializing in in-depth financial, tax, and estate planning. Their dynamic team excels in building strategies for executives and business owners. They currently service over 2000 households and manage over $300m.We are looking for a detailed and experienced Financial Planner to start immediately. This would originally be to cover a maternity leave, but could grow into a permanent position for the right candidate. You would be responsible for creating financial plans and recommendations based on the Advisor #39;s direction from their client meetings. Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data and create tailored financial plans.
  • Create recommendations and scenarios to present to the clients
  • Create Income plans
  • Meeting preparation and follow-up.
  • Maintain detailed records of financial plans and client interactions.
  • Collaborate with other financial professionals (e.g., accountants, attorneys).
Qualificationsamp; Requirements:
  • Certified Financial Planners (CFP) designation.Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or QAFP (Mandatory)
  • Canadian Securities Course (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Provincial Life Insurance license, including Accidentamp; Sickness (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Conquest, Salesforce, and Naviplan experience is an asset.
  • Knowledgeamp; experience of industry legislation, rules, and requirements.
  • University degree or College diploma (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and a CRM is essential.
  • Willing to take applicable industry courses and professional development.
