Job Description

Hotel Arts Group is currently seeking a Food & Beverage Manager. If you are passionate about customer service and building relationships, we are looking for you.This critical role will oversee leading the Food & Beverage Management Team of Hotel Arts Group including Hotel Arts, Hotel Arts Kensington, and the SAIT campus.As the Food & Beverage Manager you will champion and be a leader in the following areas:

  • Lead the Food & Beverage managers of Hotel Arts Group while reporting to the Director of Operations.
  • Has a comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage landscape with an understanding of food preparation.
  • Demonstrates awareness of what is going on in the food and beverage industry in the Calgary and international market and uses this information to lead the restaurant development
  • Inspiring colleagues to achieve revenue quotas and personal goals.
  • Achieving revenue goals framed for the Food & Beverage Team in the current budget.
  • Affect profit gain by seeking more effective systems, operations, and advantageous pricing from vendors and suppliers.
  • Knows how to lead and monitor, train, develop and organize staff efficiently and thoughtfully.
  • Is knowledgeable about the business from a profit & loss standpoint including food and labor cost.
  • Utilizing the hotel’s vision to build and strengthen new and current relationships within the hotel and externally.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • 2+ Years’ experience in a similar position is an asset.
  • Previous Hotel or Resort experience in a Food & Beverage management setting.
  • Experience in leading a team and managing people is required.
  • Previous Restaurant Management experience is required.
  • Ability to analyze data to impact profit performance.
