We value our employees and offer a positive and encouraging environment as well as ample opportunities for career advancement.-Greet customers, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude, including answering questions about the menu.-Input orders into a point-of-sale system and accept payment using a credit card reader or cash register, calculating change accurately and quickly as required.-Work together with the kitchen team to prepare foods such as sandwiches, soups, and salads while following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements.-Use specific kitchen machinery such as ice cream dispensers, blenders to create customized cold beverages to customers preferences.-Ensure restaurant cleanliness daily by clearing tables, returning trays to the kitchen, sweeping and mopping floors, washing and sanitizing kitchen utensils.-Communicate effectively with team members and management to create work schedules, train new employees, and resolve any interpersonal issues as needed.-Handle guests concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to restaurant policy.-Maintain a neat and tidy appearance by wearing a uniform and adhering to a corporate dress code.Skills And AbilitiesEssential Skills- Oral communication- Working with others- Decision making- Computer useTransportation/Travel Information- Own transportation- Public transportation is availableCredentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)- Food Safe Certificate- Serving It Right CertificateCounter Attendant and Food Preparer Skills- Take customers orders- Stock refrigerators- Serve customers at counters- Prepare, heat and finish simple food itemsWork Setting- RestaurantType of Equipment- Grill- Deep fryer- Cash registerKitchen Helping Skills- Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas- Handle and store cleaning products- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipmentBussing Skills- Assist food and beverage servers in formal service activitiesWeight Handling- Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)Also Should be able to work evenings and weekends and late nights until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.Job Types: Full-time/ Part-time, Permanent.Salary: $15.00 -$16 per hour.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 32-40 per weekSalary: From $15.00 per hourAdditional pay:
