The Freight Solutions Specialist’s (FSS) primary responsibility will be to drive profitable business growth through Spot Market Activity. This will occur through Freight Acceptance and Freight Generation activities by the Spot Market Team. The FSS will leverage expertise using available tools, data and experience on Asset and Logistics Truck Capacity as well as Market Rates to provide direction to internal stakeholders to increase spot load freight volumes. The FSS will maximize customer spot market volume by executing on strategies developed by the Spot Market Team. This role will be responsible for Volume Generation via direct engagement through various freight channels. The successful candidate must possess a strong sense of urgency to ensure that network planning needs are met to keep drivers moving when available for loads. This role will act as a “hunter” with a meaningful incentive-based opportunity and will require negotiation skills, forward-thinking, collaboration with stakeholders and timely communication.Freight Acceptance:
