Job Description

SummaryWE ARE LOOKING FOR A FRONT OFFICE MANAGERJoin our Front Office Team as a Front Office Manager. The Front Office Manager will be responsible for front office operations manages, Front Desk Supervisors, Front Desk Agents, Guest Service agents, Valet Attendants, Concierge, Regency Club and Guest Hub operators. The Front Office Manager is responsible for all duties of the front office operation, which include staff training, inter-department communications, and staff scheduling.WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME IN THIS ROLE

  • Develop and recommend the budget, labor cost plans and maintain guest room inventory
  • Coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt Service Standards and Procedures
  • Ensure all operations and cash handling are done per policies and procedures
  • Maintain excellent communication with the housekeeping department
  • Maintain information on prices, rates, specials, packages, and programs, while ensuring all staff are trained in all areas
  • Manage and communicate necessary information to other departments
  • Analyze, investigate, and resolve guest complaints and staff issues
  • Ensures proper staffing levels for customer service goals
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including, morning, afternoon, evening, overnight and weekends.
  • Valid work authorization for Canada
Qualifications
  • Previous Rooms Management experience & knowledge of Opera system is considered an asset
