Student Care is recruiting for the 2022-2023 school year! Student Care is a group of eight established school age care programs located in highly regarded elementary schools, providing quality and age appropriate program experiences for groups of children and families since 1988.We are seeking to welcome full-time staff members with Early Childhood Educator level 1, 2 or 3 certification. Due to increased registration at several programs, we will have positions available at the following locations:Calgary Arts Academy (2036 20 Avenue SW) - Start date will be August 15, 2022Sunalta Elementary School (536 Sonora Avenue SW) - Start date will be August 29, 2022Jennie Elliott Elementary School (3031 Lindsay Drive SW) - Start date will be August 29, 2022All positions are full-time split shift for a total of 35 to 36 hours per week. Shifts will be 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, 11:30 to 1:30 PM, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Monday to Friday availability is required for all positions. Some locations have early dismissal on Fridays and Friday afternoon shifts will start at 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM.The successful candidates will join experienced teams to implement the daily program plan which may include but is not limited to arts and crafts, science experiments, gross motor activities both indoors and outdoors, homework support, engaging and supporting students who attend kindergarten through grade 6 and serving as an outstanding role model.In return, we will provide the successful candidates with a competitive wage, as well as an honest and caring work environment working with awesome co-workers.Both Student Care and our host schools will follow all COVID safety protocols until further notice. This means that we will take temperatures at the door, spray sanitize childrens and staffs hands and continue enhanced cleaning protocols.
