Job Description

Founded in 1991 as an overhead bridge crane service and company, CRS CraneSystems has since evolved into a market leading, full-service crane manufacturer. We have an extensive maintenance service and parts business, a diversified customer base, and ISO 9001 certification. We have experience in complex, diverse and challenging sectors and industries including oil and gas, mining, power generation, manufacturing, forestry, pulp, paper, steel, light metals, and cement. In addition to selling cranes directly to end-users, CRS works with some of the world’s largest engineering and construction management companies and attributes its growth and success to its reputation for providing only the highest quality of work and on time delivery.CRS operates out of an 26 000 square foot facility located in Sherwood Park, Alberta in one of North Americas largest crane manufacturing facilities. Additional sales and service branches are in Calgary, Alberta; Surrey, British Columbia; and Mississauga, Ontario. Since 1991, we have been producing and supporting cranes for locations throughout North America, Central America, South America, and Africa.The position: We are seeking a Full-time Administrative Assistant for our Calgary office. We require an organized professional to provide support organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency in person in our Calgary office with duties additionally assigned from our Langley, BC office with duties including:

  • Accurate and efficient data entry.
  • Entering of purchase orders and cross checking paperwork returned by technicians with customer purchase orders.
  • Providing the Service Technicians with purchase order numbers in a timely manner.
  • Performing tasks related to client and job set up including opening jobs and work orders in our current system.
  • Checking all invoicing for the department.
  • Shipping and receiving.
  • Assisting with preparing appropriate paperwork to be emailed and communicated technicians regarding upcoming work issued for service calls.
  • Receiving phone calls and liaise with suppliers, customers and employees to ensure the maximum efficiency of our processes.
What we need from you:
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • Extensive SAP experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Warm phone manner and fantastic interpersonal skills.
  • Previous Administrative experience is essential for this fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of either Overhead Cranes or previous experience within a Service Department would also be beneficial.
