Job Description

Cloverdale Paint is seeking ambitious individuals for an available full-time position at our Midnapore store in Calgary, AB. Applicants must be able to provide excellent customer service, product knowledge, and problem-solving skills to retail and wholesale customers. Part-Time Hours. Applicants will also be required to lift and tint 1 and 5-gallon buckets of paint, with approximate weight ranges from 10 - 70lbs. If you are unsure where your career is taking you, let’s talk!

  • Answering basic customer inquires in person and by phone
  • Determining and recommending products to customers ensuring the customer is supplied with all items required for their project
  • Tinting & shaking paint
  • Be able to key in sales and operate basic functions of the POS system
  • Accurately record customer colour history Operations
  • Stocking shelves & stock rotation, be able to read batch date, understand the importance of proper product in proper bin
  • shipping and receiving procedures, check off receiving’s, note errors, shortages & overages
  • Fill tint canisters
  • Operate pallet jacks, load and unload trucks
  • Housekeeping duties
  • Understand basic Inventory objectives
Qualifications:
  • At least 1-year of Retail Sales and/or Paint Industry experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer experience is a must
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Strong work ethic, with a can-do attitude
  • Availability to work Tuesday - Saturday
