Location: CALGARY, Alberta, CanadaCategory: The Bay Supply Chain & LogisticsJob Opened: July 27th, 2022Education: High School Diploma/GEDJob Number: 220003UNJob Type: Full-TimeRemote: Nojob descriptionDay in the Life:Job Purpose & AccountabilitiesEcommerce processors are responsible for performing duties associated with receiving, putting away, picking, packaging, shipping and return processing of merchandise to support the Ecommerce business. Ecommerce processes primarily consist of performing light industrial functions using carts and RF technology; the use of powered equipment (forklifts etc.) in the facility is extremely limited.What You Will Do:Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares, processes and moves merchandise productively and accurately according to established guidelines in order to meet location standards
  • Practices safety awareness
  • Works independently and in a team as assigned and moves between job functions as needed
  • Processing must be completed in a timely manner to maintain established department and location standards/goals
  • Loads and unloads trailers scans merchandise, builds pallets and labels merchandise
  • Picks, packs and merges orders
  • Rebags/Retickets replenishes and/or stocks merchandise as needed
  • Verifies accuracy of production or location; may set or assign locations of products
  • Performs manual, computer or RF functions to enter data in systems
  • Other duties as assigned
What You Will Need:Requirements
  • Previous distribution/warehouse experience, including location codes in an “each-pick” environment
  • Knowledge of computer systems (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook) intermediate to advance is required
  • Previous knowledge of WMS is considered an asset
  • Available to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to prioritize workload
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Computer operating skills, including RF technology. Ability to walk 5-10 km per day and work standing, reaching, squatting and lifting
  • Knowledge of merchandise types
  • Familiar with various manual material handling equipment
  • The ability to drive powered equipment (licensed) is an asset
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards
  • Flexible and the ability to shift priorities when required
  • Quality and results-driven
  • Teamwork and ability to get along with others in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English, including reading and writing
  • Minimum High school diploma or demonstrated experience
  • A college diploma in supply chain or related discipline is an asset
  • The potential to move into leadership roles is an asset
