As a Grounds Worker you will be responsible for the routine maintenance, design, and arrangement of grounds and exterior of the building.This is for a summer term and will be a contract position.Major ResponsibilitiesPerform regular inspections of the building grounds to ensure curb-side appearance is in accordance with the contract and Edon's standardsPerform tasks in the maintenance, repair, and improvement of grounds that address building and client issuesCut and water grass, plant trees and shrubs, apply fertilizer and pesticidesAsist in the irrigation system installations and maintenanceAdjust, clean and perform minor mechanical work on grounds equipmentRespond to service requests and emergenciesOperate a variety of standard power tools and equipment (lawn mower, rakes, spades, hoes, electrical hedge clipper, edger, tiller)Experience & QualificationsMinimum two years’ landscaping experienceCompleted Grade 12 educationGood command of the English language (written and verbal)Valid Driver’s License and clean Driver’s AbstractStrong customer care and communication skillsAbility to use basic power tools and complete basic building maintenanceCompetitive Compensation Package includes:Full-time, variable hoursCompetitive wageSupportive team environment
