  • Responsible for the provision of personal care to Residents
  • Utilize the Resident’s Care Plan to provide individualized care
  • Promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual well-being of residents and families
  • Complies with policies, procedures, and work routines
  • Ensures a safe and clean work environment
  • Works in partnership with other individuals and departments to promote customer service for residents, guests, and employees
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements
  • Health Care Aide certificate as per provincial curriculum
  • Must be registered with the Alberta Health Care Aide directory
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
  • Brings a caring, compassionate and empathetic approach.
  • Mentally and physically able to complete duties as outlined above
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates concern and interest in providing a safe and attractive environment for facility customers
  • Demonstrates effective communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to function as an effective team member with other staff, residents, families, and the public
