Our Energy and Resources Division has an exciting new opportunity to join the Sodexo team as our next Housekeeping and Quality Assurance Coordinator for our busy Remote Site lodge located in beautiful Kitimat, BC. In your new role, you will lead a team of 50 plus employees through their daily work in Houskeeping. This role will require your knowledge in Housekeeping, Quality and Training. You will lead a strong safety culture. Sodexo offers a competitive salary package with extended benefits.   • Provide local leadership and strategic direction to build client relationships and new business opportunities to enhance profitability
  • Ensure contract delivery including commercial and legal terms and conditions of the contract and deliver to the SLA(s) and standards required
  • Carry out regular contract performance revisions and internal compliance audits and checks to support the delivery of Goal Zero for the account and Sodexo compliance

Directs business practices that uphold Sodexo’s mission and valuesQualificationsWhat You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • 3-5 years of Assistant General Manager/Hospitality management experience in a multi-service operation supporting Houskeeping or Environmental Services
  • Strong financial and labour cost experience
  • Educational background in Hospitality Management or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years of previous Housekeeping/Environmental Services is a strong asset
  • Proven leadership and line management skills and the ability to build, lead and motivate a team
  • Able to work on own initiative, make effective decisions and as also work as part of a team
  • A good level of operational and support experience; safety first mindset
  • Experience of managing a budget and interpreting financial and commercial information
  • Good standards of literacy and numeracy with sound financial acumen
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to react to suit operational support requirements, must be able to organize time effectively and prioritize tasks to cope with fluctuating workloads.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Competent IT skills including MS office
  • Experience in unionized environments
