As a member of one of these groups, you will play an essential role in supporting the successful execution of our projects and overall business operations by advising and applying your expertise to various improvement initiatives within your functional area.About the Role:Reporting to the Compensation and Benefits Director, the HR Analyst is responsible for supporting the design, development and administration of the broad rewards strategy with a focus on performance management, organizational design and job leveling structure, career pathing, and compensation related matters. This incumbent will support the creation and administration of these programs, products and services for both Canada and the USA, ensuring alignment with Company and HR strategic objectives.Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and execution of the company-wide performance management and assessment process
  • Advise the business regarding organizational design and job leveling needs, balancing the need for consistency and internal equity with the flexibility to meet business needs
  • Develop an approach and design communication and education resources for HR Advisors and Business leaders to increase awareness and skills related to performance management, organizational design and job levels, career progression and pathing opportunities, and competency assessment.
  • Provide guidance to HR Advisors and Business leaders in relation to day to day guidance surrounding the performance management process, job leveling and structure, career progression and pathing and competency assessment
  • Support the Compensation function, which could include market analysis, compensation survey input, execution of annual compensation processes, and creation of communication material
  • Work directly with HR Advisors and Business leaders to identify needs and build client focused solutions
  • Work closely with the Compensation and Benefits Director to ensure alignment and integration with the team and broader HR strategic goals
  • Support the implementation and execution of all above programs, including systems support and administration as required
Education, Experience & Knowledge:
  • Equivalent to completion of a university degree in a technical / business / scientific field of study; degree in Business or Human Resources is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of prior experience in talent management and/or compensation in a mid to large company.
  • Proven ability to set, shift and manage multiple priorities to meet a variety of timelines.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and influencing skills with the ability to build positive alliances and stakeholder relationships across all levels of the Company and with external organizations.
  • Able to demonstrate openness, integrity and the ability to exercise discretion and judgment with tack and diplomacy on confidential matters
  • Ability to research and provide market findings to support critical decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite, with particularly strong excel skills.
  • Proficiency using Success Factors, SAP, Easy Reporter considered an asset.
