Job Description

We currently have one (1) opportunity available for the position of:HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNERResponsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on all aspects of human resources including labour relations, grievance handling, and collective agreement interpretation and application.
  • Educate, interpret, and advise on applicable provincial employment standards legislation to divisional leaders and employees.
  • Recommend and develop HR related policies, best practices and procedures
  • Provide guidance and support on the organizational design, implementation, communication and on-going management of various HR initiatives directly aligned with K-Line’s strategy, mission, vision and values
  • Assist in talent acquisition inclusive of recruitment and onboarding
  • Provide advice and support in the areas of talent management, learning and development, performance management, employee engagement and compensation
  • Develop comprehensive diversity, equity and inclusion strategies and initiatives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations. Conduct thorough workplace investigations and recommend course of action.
  • Provide guidance and support with accommodation and WCB & WSIB disability management.
Experience & Education
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources and/or Business
  • CHRP/CHRL designation strongly preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years of combined experience in Human Resources and Labour Relations in a high paced work environment
  • Minimum five (5) years experience with WSIB/WCB Disability Management
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality and timely deliverables that create organizational value
