Come join the team making Canadian history!About the RoleThis position is the heart of the HR and Real Estate Team. Our teammate will cover the administrative and analytical needs for the team by leading processes that create a great employee experiences and facilitate effective and efficient HR operations.This is a great role for an individual who has a can-do attitude, enjoys the challenges of working in Human Resources and has a client focus attitude.To succeed with us in HR & Real Estate Department , we need your enthusiasm to:

You will use your expertise to:
  • Responsible for supporting the HR Leadership team in coordination activities relative to travel, expenses and the like.
  • Assisting with Meeting Minutes with third parties
  • Administer our Cheers for Peers recognition program
  • Administer the Secondment agreement program in conjunction with the Legal team and HR
  • Assisting with month end reconciliation and workforce planning including data uploads to our HRIS system
  • HR team records management (RIMS) focal.
  • HR Yammer and communications updates focal.
  • Assisting with HR Cycle collaboration and document analysis or collection
  • Provide support for recruitment efforts including applicant experience and process administration
  • Effective stakeholder management with coordination of projects, meetings or deliverables
  • Ensure timely and accurate tracking and recording of information where required
  • Understand and adhere to established levels of data protection, equal opportunities, direct competitor, anti-trust, ant-bribery guidelines at all times
To be successful, you will have:
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in the oil/gas industry or large complex organizations
  • Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources or Business is a definite asset
  • An affinity to data and enjoys maintaining data sets
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Demonstrated project management skill set
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communications
  • Credible and confident to build relationships
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing both administrative processes and looking for continuous improvement opportunities
  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and utilize sound judgment
  • Ability to work under pressure and accommodate changing demands
  • Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
  • Strong appreciation of the value of diverse backgrounds
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail.
This role requires that you:
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)
  • Know that as part of LNG Canada’s commitment to protect the health and safety of its personnel and the communities in which it operates, LNG Canada requires all Canada-based employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. LNG Canada will consider accommodation requests from individuals in accordance with applicable human rights legislation.
  • An expectation of working in the office a minimum of 2 days per week and work-from-home
  • Work schedule is 40hrs per week – Monday to Friday
  • This is a fixed term role with benefits that is anticipated to end of September 2024.
