If you are ready to help our clients and project teams succeed, we would love to meet you!Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIBM’s Tech Re-Entry program is looking for talented technical professionals who are looking to restart their technical careers after an absence from the workforce of 12 months or more. This paid apprenticeship will enable you to work on projects that match your expertise, interests, and abilities and could lead to full-time employment.During your IBM Tech Re-Entry apprenticeship program, you will have the opportunity to update your skills in a contemporary work environment. You will have access to the latest tools and technologies available and work alongside multi-disciplinary teams to hone your expertise and deliver on client-critical solutions. You’ll be able to experience the breadth of IBM resources while developing new skills and relationships. Re-Entry hires participate in 6 month apprenticeships to refresh skills and prepare for transition to full time opportunities. The experience provides personalized technical learning to update and gain additional skills; earning badges and credentials along the way.In order to qualify for this apprenticeship, you must have been out of the workforce for a minimum of 12 months.You will be responsible for leading a project team in delivering a CAMS (Cloud, Analytics, Mobile, Social) and Java/Microsoft based application development solutions to the client, which are executed using Agile method, which is fundamentally different from traditional project management and way of delivery. This specialty has overall performance responsibility for managing scope, contractual deliverables applying agile tools & methods. This specialty involves sprint planning, leading daily scrum calls, resource assignment, providing technical guidance, task re-assignment, lead retrospectives and report sprint progress to the stakeholders. You are required to collaborate closely with the client product managers, business analysts and other stakeholders, to ensure successful delivery.In this role, you must be able to work with IBM clients to:

• Lead an Agile development team in design, development and testing of mobile solutions;
• Lead development of sizing estimates and creation of Agile project plans;
• Manage the development backlog;
• Manage inter workstream dependencies;
• Participate in creation of integrated Agile project plans;
• Work closely with technical leads and client teams including technical executives, architects, and project leads;
• Participate in scrums, retrospectives;
• Manage impediments.

• Team leadership & project management;
• Excellent skills in oral & written business communications in English;
• Project execution using various development methodologies, including agile development methodologies;
• Experience working in global delivery environment (e.g. teaming with resources from India);
• Financial services / banking solutions experience would be an asset.
