Job Description

Who we are:English Testing Canada (ETC) provides high-stakes English language proficiency tests (IELTS & CELPIP) at locations across Canada. Many of our staff are multilingual, and our goal is to have our staff reflect the diversity of our clients.The Role:English Testing Canada (ETC) seeks a dependable, customer-focused, and highly professional IELTS Invigilator to join our team in Moncton, NB. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-orientated, and capable of working in a fast-paced testing environment. The IELTS Invigilator will be considered a casual, part-time employee who will be scheduled on an as-needed basis. The successful candidate must be available to work on Saturdays.   • Setting up test rooms and equipment at the venue as required
  • Checking in and out test takers personal belongings
  • Checking in test-takers using IELTS processes
  • Administering and invigilating tests
  • Cleaning up after tests
  • Other duties as required
Requirements:
  • Commitment to principles of social justice, which includes treating all individuals with respect and dignity
  • Awareness of and experience with high-stakes testing, including CELPIP and IELTS is an asset
  • Availability on Saturdays is a must
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, punctuality, and professionalism
  • Ability to work under examination conditions with respect for confidentiality and secure information
  • A strong commitment to principles of equity and social justice
  • Experience with exam invigilation is an asset
  • A valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle is an asset
  • Valid First Aid certification is an asset
Qualifications:
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Customer service experience is an asset
  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a part of a team or alone as required
  • Able to accurately follow predetermined instructions
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential
  • Available to work outside of normal business hours and is comfortable spending long periods of time pacing, standing, or sitting.
