Click Here: The Gibson WayInterestedWe’re looking for an Indigenous Summer Student to support the Human Resources and Indigenous Relations teams. The ideal candidate will provide a variety of administrative and analytical activities to support multiple teams for a variety of projects and initiatives in order to obtain a well-rounded and meaningful work experience.What Youll Be Doing
  • Acting as an employment brand ambassador by ensuring Gibson Energy is a great place to work by promoting the Gibson Way
  • Participates in various HR projects as required, project work may cross multiple areas within HR including:
    • Talent Management / Employee & Labour Relations
    • Learning & Development
    • Total Rewards
    • Talent Acquisition
    • Leaves Management
  • Supporting projects and activities in the Indigenous Relations function
  • Demonstrates a personal commitment and proactive approach to Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) through participation in all applicable EH&S programs and ensures safe operation of the branch, team or unit and compliance with all Company EH&S policies and procedures.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
What Youll Bring
  • Enrolled in a Human Resources related program at a post-secondary or other educational institution.
  • Good working knowledge in the following MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams); experience with SharePoint would be considered an asset.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills with strong attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable to a wide range of tasks and activities.
  • Eager to take on new challenges.
  • Motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage sensitive information in a confidential manner
