Job Description

Overview:

  • As part of our production team, you will be accountable for the spray applied protective coating that creates a harden surface on our sculptures. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is mechanically inclined with an eye for detail.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Mask and Prep pieces for Hard coat.
  • Hard coat theming as per design and SYC standards.
  • Maintain tools and ensure proper tool usage.
  • Coordinate maintenance of hard coating booth and pneumatic pressure lines.
  • Support paint or production department as required.
  • Manage timelines with budgeted hour allotments.
  • Track time daily and report time over / under as per company policy.
  • Track department inventory and waste. Follow all company policies, practices and processes.
  • Continuous learning of new products and techniques
Requirements:
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Problem Solving Capabilities
  • Lifting requirements up to 50lbs
  • Quality Control
  • Motivated, hardworking and able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Team player and safety orientated
Assets for this position:
  • Forklift experience and/or license

  • Previous industrial spraying experience
  • General shop operations
  • Prior construction experience helpful but not required
  • Experience in fabrication environment with exposure to inventory control, production and manufacturing techniques and practices.
