We are currently recruiting for Instrument Asset Specialists to work within the Spartan Valve & Measurement Reliability Solutions Team. The role will be working directly with Customers in Western Canada as a key member of their Instrument Maintenance and/or Reliability Team.The opportunity is based on partnering with Key Customers to provide differentiated Smart Instrument & Valve Reliability expertise in order to achieve mutual success and Customer preference. The role provides a motivated individual the opportunity to gain unique, real world experience working with Emerson/Spartan technologies while developing an Instrument & Valve Reliability skillset not commonly found in the market.Upon completion of a comprehensive training program, the successful candidate(s) will be assigned to Customer project(s). In support of Customer engagements, assignments may include relocation within Western Canada such as Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Red Deer and Saskatchewan or long term shift work based out of Calgary/Edmonton and commuting to customer sites.You will be reporting to the Manager – Valve & Measurement Reliability Solutions, and responsibilities would include:Develop, enhance and support the Customer’s maintenance and reliability work processes through the utilization of Emerson technologies and OEM best practices.Provide an expert level utilization of Emerson’s AMS Device Manager Suite including diagnostics and predictive alert capabilities.Deliver and quantify financial benefits using Emerson technologies and services.Provide direct reliability and technical support for Emerson/Spartan products at both an engineering and maintenance level.Provide hands-on training and mentorship on the utilization of Emerson’s technologies.Create, improve and/or maintain instrument data integrity, this may include (but is not limited to) diagnostic, maintenance, datasheet and SIS instrument validation records.Inventory optimization and managementParticipate in the development, optimization and execution of instrument and valve shutdown scopesQualifications and Skills:Engineering Degree, Instrumentation Technologist Diploma or Instrumentation Journeyman designation from an accredited institution3+ Years industry experience in an operating process facilityExperience working with Emerson devices and AMS Device Manager/Valvelink software is an assetExperience in a Maintenance or Reliability Specialist role is an assetProven Customer service skillsEffective interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsHighly motivated and innovativeAbility to work in team environmentEntrepreneurial work ethicThis role requires flexibility and the ability to travelClosing: July 20, 2021 @ 11:59PM MSTIND123
