Job Description

The OpportunityThe Inventory Analyst will primarily be responsible for purchasing, managing inventory levels, forecasting and customer service for external brand operations. This includes supporting day-to-day procedures and reports, and assisting the team in improving procurement, customer services and logistics processes. This a remote opportunity and the successful candidate for this position must be located in Germany or the Netherlands.Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, External Brands you will be responsible for:

  • Placing purchase orders, ensuring a continuous availability of products and on-time delivery to customers;
  • Supporting import/export of duty suspended goods, and goods subject to excise tax;
  • Coordinating delivery schedules with suppliers; monitoring sales and suppliers to provide delivery dates and shipping information; assisting with import/export compliance;
  • Day to day engagement with international 3PL providers and suppliers;
  • Assisting with researching 3PL providers in new and existing markets
  • Liaising with our customer service provider to address customer queries related to supply chain concerns on a daily basis including delivery timelines, returns, damages, etc;
  • Researching supply chain nuances and requirements in new markets to support the Senior Inventory Analysts
  • Updating reporting on KPIs for key stakeholders;
  • Assessing inventory levels in our warehouses to ensure continuity of supply; assisting with internal audits including but not limited to month end stock counts and inventory reconciliation
  • Liaising with marketing and analyzing sales forecasts and order reports to ensure consistent availability of products;
  • Supporting the development and launch of all new client projects in a supply chain capacity;
  • Coordinating and handling administrative tasks as they relate to the above responsibilities (claims, specific requirements, product launches, etc.);
  • Continued development of product knowledge in relation to Beer, Wines and Spirits
What you bring:
  • Fluent German and English speaker required
  • Dutch considered a strong asset
  • 2+ years of Inventory, procurement/supply chain experience
  • 1+ years in customer support
  • Experience with forecasting inventory
  • Experience with international shipping, importing/exporting, experience with the EU is considered an asset
  • Post-Secondary Education, preferably a Bachelor’s degree
  • Analytical and technical skills
  • Financial acumen as related to supply chain considered an asset
  • Ability to prioritize tasks from various sources both inside and outside the organization
  • Intermediate spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets preferred)
  • A self-motivated mindset and comfort with ambiguity/change considered an asset
