By integrating innovative material science into products to meet new demands we will leave traditional alternatives behind.Building on a winning track record of 300% revenue growth over the past 5 years, we need the right talent to take the next big steps.Your MissionAs an inventory analyst for our manufacturing plant in Alberta you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory values in our ERP system, working closely with our sales operations and manufacturing team in providing valuable insight on costing and pricing of our product. You will help maintain and create KPIs as related to the manufacturing process, driving process to minimize errors and provide direction based on analysis performed. In addition, you will be a key part of the finance team, contributing to the monthly/quarterly internal and board reporting with analysis as required.Responsibilities

  • Provide input and develop documentation for inventory KPIs, reporting, tracking and measurement
  • Reconcile and book all inventory movements, ensuring our inventory subledgers are maintained correctly and at the correct costs.
  • On a monthly basis, analyze results, draw conclusions on efficiencies based on analysis and communicate with plant management.
  • Plan and lead meetings with management to discuss inventory results.
  • Manage and own inventory part set-up in the system.
  • Drive costing and pricing analysis, working with sales operations and product management to ensure appropriate pricing decisions are made.
  • Work with plant management to coordinate physical inventory count on a monthly and quarterly basis and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Help with ad-hoc analysis as related to supply chain, manufacturing, and any other departments as needed.
  • Key member of the ERP implementation team over the next year, as we roll out a new ERP system.
  • Work with key stakeholders to design, review and update inventory control policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all teams
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Experience using an ERP (Netsuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) is an asset
  • Post secondary degree/diploma for business or accounting or a similar equivalent in relevant experience
  • Minimum 1-3 years work in an analyst position
