If you’re ready to bring your insights and experience in areas of progressive enterprise automation and automation transformations, whether on public cloud, hybrid cloud or on-premise, we are ready to offer you a best in class job ad career development.Reporting to a Sr. Manager and Consulting Practice Lead and part of the Advisory Services, the Automation Enterprise Architect Consultant will maintain an effective technical relationship with the Kyndryl automation solution teams, the Kyndryl consulting practice associate partner, and the Kyndryl consulting members to drive automation solution “wins” and then focus on executing the design and consulting of the enterprise automation solution while working closely with the client. You’ll be embedding with application and infrastructure teams that haven’t used automation before and demonstrating best practices of automation, site reliability and CI/CD. You’ll be creating infrastructure as code that unlocks the potential of development teams.The incumbent will contribute to the development and delivery of consulting solutions based on first-hand recent experiences. S/he will understand the challenges faced by clients and technology, the alternatives, and the remedy approach to best fit the enterprise automation requirements. In executing a consulting engagement, you will perform automation consulting assessment and build recommendations for implementation:1.Architectural Solutions and Designs for Automation Strategy and Vision for “IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and Automation-as-a-Service” models2.Organization automation for keeping pace with organization changes3.Process automation for orchestration and process quality and availability4.and will be inspired by the opportunity to work in a team to develop new processes and technologies to overcome these challenges.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe IT Management Automation Enterprise Architect Consultant

  • will independently or as part of a consulting team, perform the consulting solution, create the consulting automation deliverables, and achieve the project outcomes while communicating the project success resulting in high client satisfaction:
  • will work as part of a scrum team focused on enterprise automation and cloud foundations; and
  • work will be attached to a development team as an SRE or DevOps Consultant
The IT Management Automation Enterprise Architect Consultant, as a subject matter expert, will support the national sales community and account teams in the discussion of enterprise automation and automation principles to demonstrate (a) evidence of our knowledge and capabilities and (b) assist clients in refining their understanding of IBM automation point-of-views, principles and approaches to increase the posture and orchestration of automation within their enterpriseThe IT Management Automation Enterprise Architect Consultant will translate client automation requirements into industry leading and high value solutions, and, upon client commitment, to architecturally technically design, build and configure enterprise automation platforms.Finally, the IT Management Automation Enterprise Architect Consultant will be perceived as the trusted advisor and brand expert for automation services within the Kyndryl Canadian, Americas and global automation consulting practices. This requires your continued skill and expertise proactive growth to keep pace with automation principles, technologies, and evolving best practices.Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseRequired Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 7+ years of progressive post-graduate IT and business consulting experience,
  • Ability to leading teams towards an outcome and break down impediments,
  • Applied expertise of consulting methodologies, consulting practice models, and consulting principles,
  • Applied knowledge of architectural thinking, architectural methods,
  • Applied expertise of architecture framework, design and development of automation platform, solution design document and technical design document,
  • Applied expertise in defining and creation of automation strategy & roadmaps,
  • Applied mastery of automation and orchestration at large scale across the enterprise,
  • Applied expertise on architectural design decision making,
  • Applied experience with development, configuration, orchestration, and automation tools such as Ansible, Ansible Tower, Terraforms, ElasticSearch, GitHub, Jenkins, Chef, and Puppet to provide full stack integration,
  • Applied experience in engineering advance automation playbooks and scripts using Ansible modules, ansible engine, redhat satellite, dynamic inventories, and best practices in generating log/playbook specialized data via enhanced logic for reporting purposes,
  • Ability to articulate key technologies impact on security, availability, cost, capacity, transformation, risk, business enablement and transformation objectives,
  • Ability to evaluate risk/merit to make recommendations on available and speculative information, and
  • Certification with Red Hat Ansible, RedHat Satellite, AWS, Azure, or other automation and cloud technologies
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
  • Experience and working knowledge of Windows and Linux Platforms including patching strategies,
    • Experience and working knowledge of Cisco and Network Platforms including patching strategies,
    • Previous experience transforming organizations to CI/CD delivery model,
    • Previous experience in using tools such as image repositories (Artifactory, Quay, etc.),
    • Ability to develop infrastructure automation in Go or Python as either a Kubernetes operator or on technologies,
    • Working knowledge of Containers such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and
    • Proficiency automating/leveraging monitoring and event management technologies such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and ELK.
