Contract Professionals is currently looking to add a highly motivated individual to join our fast-paced team as a junior recruitment coordinator. As part of our operations team, you’ll interface with both clients and candidates. This is a role that involves fielding and directing phone calls, candidate attraction, on-boarding, client account interaction, and general admin relating to these. The successful candidate will be results driven, and able to balance competing demands of a busy small business. This role is a combination of placing our current candidate resources and finding new candidates as needed. Our goal is to bring every project to a safe and successful completion on time and on budget.Once our personnel are assigned, we take on full responsibility for managing all aspects of the contract administration. This includes tracking and auditing time sheets, payroll and expenses, and monitoring all safety and compliance requirements set out by the client.Responsibilities· Be the first point of contact by answering phones and managing calls in a professional manner; directing callers or managing inquiries as appropriate· Work with our recruitment/onboarding/management team to coordinate contractors based on client’s needs, often dispatching to site on short notice· Actively recruit for open roles and maintain a list of contractors· Using our internal candidate database and your own recruiting resources to match the right person to the clients requirements· Provide assistance to our in-house safety and compliance team to ensure all safety and compliance requirements are met prior to and during projects. (i.e., assisting with D&A booking, criminal record checks, verification of safety tickets, reference checks etc.)· Develop a good understanding of our clients, their industry, what they do, plus their work culture and environment· Build good working relationships with client representatives to ensure open and timely communication· Reviewing applications, assist with managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client· Maintain records/files/systems as per clients’ requirements/policy· Advertise requirements by drafting and placing adverts in a range of places· Engage with contractors and clients via email and phone; must be comfortable on the phone· Regular weekly and monthly reporting as required by clients· Provide administrative support to management team as needed· Assist on proposals, bid documents and contract renewals· Ability to adjust to shifting needs as they align with our ever-changing recruiting requirementsRequirements: · Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Minimum 1 year of, recruitment and/or sourcing and on-boarding support experience within the Oil & Gas Industry; ideally with a staffing agency who specializes in contractor placement· Experience in the following online portals would be an asset: Ctrax-Beeline, Fieldglass, SAP, ISNetworld, indeed, LinkedIn, etc.· Must be local to Calgary, AB (office is located in deep south east)· Must have valid driver’s license and have the ability drive to work – Free Parking provided· Must be dependable, reliable, self-motivated and have excellent time management skills· Uncompromising devotion to quality with high attention to detail· Safety conscious, knowledge of health and safety· Work effectively with minimal direction, with the ability to problem solve· Easy going attitude, with the ability to work well under pressure· Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills are a must· Team player: this position is in a small office setting; willingness to assist any other staff when necessary is required· Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint, in particular)· High School degree or higherRemuneration: · Salary, benefits and other earning opportunities are negotiable based on experience.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $45,000.00-$48,000.00 per yearBenefits:
