This experienced, eager, and creative person will work with a multidisciplinary creative team, producing world-class marketing and communications across a variety of media. We’re looking for a team player who’s eager to work alongside some of Canada’s most talented creative designers, photographers, writers, and film/video professionals.This role will be responsible for editing and assistant-editing a variety of in-house produced content and will ensure post-production processes are efficient and create high quality results.What youll be doing:Supporting the studio team to create compelling video and photography contentHelping the edit team to stay organized through file management, project organization, and sorting footageEditing short-form marketing projects to meet project guidelines and elevate the director’s visionAssisting with archive and media managementWhat were looking for:A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar roleProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Davinci Resolve, and either Premiere Pro or Final Cut ProKnowledge of Arri and/or RED raw workflowsTalent for storytelling in short-form contentExcellent sense of pacing and timingExpertise with all things technical in the editing world, from codecs to file specs and beyondA strong ambition to take on new challenges and grow with our teamWhat will help you succeed:Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentStrong time-management skills and an ability to meet deadlinesKnowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar) and Frame.ioTeam player with no ego; a problem solver eager to tackle notes and constructive criticismUnderstanding of the emotional impacts of audio designAbility to handle uncertainty, ambiguity, and quickly evolving goalsExperience working in an agency environmentWhat it’s like to work with us:At Neo, you’ll be working with industry-leading technology that changes the way we live and realize a better financial future.
