Job Description

Hi there!We are a young earth works company that is growing rapidly.We are in need of an in-house carpenter for decks, fences and retainer walls for our clients. This is an interesting position because you wont be a typical employee.

  • Youll be part of the quoting process
  • Youll be able to run your own team of carpenters as we grow
  • You will participate in building the business and be rewarded for it
We also have many of the tools youll need and will provide whatever we dont already have.This position is ideal if youve ever started your own business or have wanted to. You get the benefit of some flexibility and having a say in the company, but you dont have to worry about finding work or dealing with licensing, insurance etc - all the things that sucks the energy right from your soul. We have a killer team of people that really enjoy working together. We are all hard workers who laugh a lot and have each others back. Fitting into the culture here is important; we dont yell or swear at anyone, we take care of our clients, and we make sure the job gets done. You will also NEVER be asked for your medical status.Requirements:
  • Enough experience that you dont require any mentoring for building decks, fences, retainer walls (journeyman preferred, photos or examples of your work would he appreciated)
  • The ability to quote accurately (ideally you have experience doing this)
  • The availability to be able to quote in the evenings or weekends sometimes during high season
  • The ability to manage your time efficiently and be reliable AF
  • A good attitude.
  • Honesty with great work quality. Wed rather you take extra time than cut corners
  • A vehicle for reliable transportation

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
