Job Description

Job Summary: Lead Paint Protection Film Installer / Lead PPF InstallerThis position is primarily responsible to apply paint protection film on vehicles, taking the lead on a variety of projects such as; retail work, high-end vehicles, motorcycles, etc. Your role will consist of preparation of surfaces, preparing kits, and performing a high-quality installation with kits or bulk/custom installation. A Lead PPF Installer must be meticulous and thorough in the quality of their work and overseeing/assisting other ppf team members where needed. While your sole focus will be achieving a close to perfect result on your individual assignments, your expertise will also be required raise/uphold the quality of our other team members. We are seeking a highly experienced installer with a passion for their craft. The role is based in Calgary, AB.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY OF POSITION:

  • Wash, clean and prepare vehicles for install.
  • Use essential PPF tools, software, and equipment to accurately measure and cut film.
  • Perform high-quality PPF installations on vehicles in a timely manner.
  • Perform Efficient Mobile Installations (in multiple locations across Calgary and area) as needed
  • Effectively communicate with team members and the shop manager.
  • Keep a clean and organized work area.
  • Review finished PPF installs and conduct quality control inspections.
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision while upholding standards of quality.
EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years of experience installing paint protection film.
  • Valid Class 5 Operating License with a Clean Driver’s Abstract (ability to drive a manual transmission will be considered an asset).
  • Experience with Vinyl wrapping, Automotive Tint, and vehicle disassembly will be considered as strong assets.
  • Any Certifications for PPF, Vinyl or Tint will be considered an asset.
  • Proficient in English (Spoken and Written) to ensure clear communication, understanding of instructions, and accurate completion of workplace documentation.
Skillsamp; Abilities Required:
  • Valid status in Canada and can work for any employer without the need for sponsorship.
  • Flexible/adaptable to constant change.
  • Motivated and organized.
  • Frequent squatting, kneeling, pushing, standing, sitting, walking, reaching, and pulling are required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs (rolls of material)
  • Repetitive Motion.
