Job Description

Job Summary: Vinyl Wrap InstallerThis position is primarily responsible to install vinyl 3M wrap on vehicles which includes preparation of surfaces for vinyl wrapping and cleaning. The role is based in Calgary, AB. ACCOUNTABILITYamp; RESPONSIBILITY OF POSITION:

  • Install vinyl wraps on various vehicles, including cars, trucks and vans.
  • Wash /clean and prepare vehiclesfor install.
  • Measure and cut vinyl material to fit the specific vehicle dimensions accurately.
  • Apply vinyl wrap to the vehicle, ensuring a smooth and seamless finish.
  • Use heating tools and techniques to conform vinyl to the vehicles curves and contours.
  • Trim excess vinyl and perform any necessary post-installation finishing touches.
  • Inspect and ensure the quality of the installation, addressing any issues or imperfections promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3 -5 years of experience or equivalent training in 3M /sign Installation, vinyl and vehicle detailing.
  • Strong knowledge of vinyl wrap installation techniques, tools and materials; Vinyl removal experience.
  • Certifications (3M installation/training an asset).
  • Graphic design and Print shop experience.
  • Weeding and pre-making experience an asset.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of the team, depending on the project requirements.
Physical Work Demands:
  • Frequent squatting, kneeling, pushing, standing, sitting, walking, reaching and pulling extensively.
  • Repetitive Motion.
