This position is responsible for the supervision/oversite of the Southport Booking Clerks to ensure standard booking practices are maintained, training within the team and for the sites as needed. Ongoing monitoring of work plans to identify/forecast potential hotspots to identify highest needs for additional booking support at Carewest sites. Works collaboratively with others in Human Resources and with site management to bring forward findings, opportunities for improvements/streamlining and concerns. Maintaining the accuracy of the relief pools, coordinating and verifying work as needed with Unit Clerks and Human Resources. Auditing booking practices across Carewest. Responsible for other related duties as required.Qualifications: University degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Completion of a recognized post-secondary certificate program in Business, Human Resources or Payroll preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Valid driver’s license is required.Experience: Minimum 2 years leadership experience in a customer-focused service model required. Advanced computer skills required with Microsoft Office. Previous experience working with large databases such as ESP, PeopleSoft are required and FileMaker knowledge would be considered an asset. Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor are required; experience with multiple collective agreements would be an asset.
