Company descriptionSupreme Lifts and Equipment is a small business specializing in new and used automotive hoists and equipment, installations, sales, inspections and service.We have been working all around central and southern Alberta since 2019. At this point we are looking to expand our team as our business has really been ramping up.We are easy going and want to have a enjoyable work environment.Job descriptionWere looking for a new team member to join our growing business. The majority of the work will be with in the installation jobs of 2 and 4 post automotive hoists and service work we provide to various customers. Our clientele range from commercial automotive/ specialty shops to personal hobby shops and acreages. The ideal candidate would have a valid class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation to get to the job location or our shop located East of Chestermere. As well as a strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.There needs to be some flexibility in schedule- sometime the work days run longer then 8hrs, sometimes can run as long as 12 hrs. We would much rather take the extra 2 hours to finish up a job then head back for a second day for an hour or two of work.There is some out of town travel no longer then 5-7 days every few months, the average being 2 days out of town (one night), we cover accommodation and meals during out of town travel.Must have the following:

  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment.
  • Hand-Eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and experience working with power tools, safety knowledge
  • Mature work ethic, dependable, with a willingness to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must have steel toed boots
- Must have availability for short term out of town work, and the odd weekendThe hours can be considered casual- however come the new year we have many projects planned. We are expecting at least 32-40 hour work weeks, if there is a minimum of hours that you would like to work we can always try to work with in those circumstances.Part-time hours: 32 per weekJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, CasualSalary: $19.00-$22.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
  • Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
  • Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
  • English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (required)
Willingness to travel:
  • 25% (preferred)
