Job descriptionSeasons of Bowness Park is currently seeking an individual to join our culinary team as a Line Cook.We are a year round operation located inside one of Calgarys largest and most historically significant parks. POSITION OVERVIEWAs a line cook you report to the Sous Chef and Head Chef. You will always strive to promote a friendly work environment and an exemplary dining experience for our guests. You are expected to follow all policies and procedures according to company manuals.QUALIFICATIONSThe successful candidate will have a desire to learn and is a dedicated enthusiastic, outgoing individual with a passion to provide exceptional service and thrive off working with other likeminded co-workers to create an extraordinary culinary experience. Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years line cooking experience
  • Strong work ethic with exceptional service and people skills
  • Must be able to multitask and possess strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • able to work independently and within a team environment
  • Open availability (evenings and weekends, occasional mornings)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere for all Seasons employees and guests
  • Responsible for the execution and services of all line operations while on duty
  • Ensure open and effective communication amongst staff, maintaining a professional attitude at all times
  • Food preparation and presentations according to recipe and manuals while ensuring our standards of quality are being maintained.
  • Ensure overall cleanliness and the health and safety aspects of the kitchen are maintained at all times and monitor control over their conformity with our policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in all positions and duties within the department to assist staff ensuring efficient service. Willfully fulfilling any of the positions during peak times to maintain effective and efficient operations
