This position reports directly to the Liquor Warehouse Supervisor and Manager, and some of the main responsibilities include;Ensure that the liquor warehouse product is received, slotted, picked and shipped to the appropriate liquor stores in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to Company policies, procedures and standards.Plan and perform all aspects of the Warehouse Utility functions including stock rotation, gathering and picking orders according to the order schedule, and ensuring stock levels are maintained.Perform general clean up duties such as cleaning spills and keeping the warehouse floor and back stock area clean of cardboard and debris.Applicants will need to be available Monday - Friday from 6:30 am until 6:30 pm, and the occasional Sunday shift.What skills and abilities will you need to be consideredGrade 10 or an acceptable combination of education and experienceKnowledge of ordering and receivingBasic computer knowledgeWhat skills and abilities will set you apart from othersExperience in planning and organizing events, projects and programsLiquor or equivalent retail experience, with strong product knowledge and knowledge of provincial liquor regulationsPrevious warehouse experience (including shipping) would be an assetBenefits & PerksCalgary Co-op has excellent opportunities for increasing levels of responsibility, personal growth and challenges.
