Job Description

Interested in working partially remotely If yes, then this Logistic Administrator job opportunity in Calgary, AB might be yours!Adecco is currently recruiting for a full-time Logistic Administrator in Calgary, AB, to work a 1- year contract at a well-established energy company majoring in the production of synthetic crude from oil sands. In this diverse role, you will be coordinating the trucking activities across Canada on various product lanes, in a fast-paced environment. Your duties include administrative work such as responding to emails and calls from multiple stakeholders, attending meetings on operational issues, and coordinating with our carrier partners and our customers.

  • Pay Rate: $30- $35/ hour
  • Location: Calgary, AB | Hybrid (SEC 3 days, work from home 2 days)
  • Shifts: Monday - Friday | 8 hours per day
  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary | 1-year contract | Start ASAP
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the trucking activities across Canada on various product lanes
  • Respond to emails and calls regarding trucking activities
  • Evaluate, coordinate and investigate operational issues for resolution
  • Manage reported safety concerns to resolution
  • Investigate Redirects
  • Assist with special operations such as new site set up, coordinate deliveries around construction projects, badging requests, etc.
  • Enter applicable data in our various systems for reporting purposes
  • Provide support as requested to the Truck Logistics team
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education is needed
  • Min 2-5 years of Logistic or trucking administrator experience within the fuel Industry is a must
  • Experience in customer relations.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) is needed, fluency in French is appreciated
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office is required
  • Knowledge of PowerBI is an asset
  • Good communication skills and time management skills are crucial for success
  • A team player, capable of adapting to change and handling shifting priorities
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
