Job Description

Tasks included order picking, kitting, shipping, customs documentation, and other duties or assignments as delegated by chargehand and/or the Materials & Logistics Manager.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely meeting Viking Air company policies, procedures, and customer quality requirements relating to all Stores functions
  • Adhering to all regulatory and governing guidelines & manuals for handling, processing, and shipping materials
  • Picking & issuing materials to corresponding orders
  • Verifying orders
  • Shipping material as per order direction and/or Vikings Routing Guide
  • Shipping interbranch transfers (IBT)
  • Coordinate and/or support logistics requirements
  • Processing all required documentation (FORM 1, Pro Forma, Customs Documents, RMA etc.)
  • Safely operate stand up reach truck and/or counterbalance forklift
  • Safely handle manual pallet jack, carts, ladders, stair ladders, and other equipment within the warehouse (MHE)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Complete any other duties or assignments as delegated by chargehand and/or manager
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma
  • 2-5 years experience in international shipping
  • 2+ years experience shipping Dangerous Good
  • Forklift/reach truck certification
  • Experienced in MS Office experience (Outlook, Word, Excel) & ERP system
