Urban Life Solutions is looking for a Lube & Tire Technician to work in Nisku within the Fleet & Facility division. This position will be responsible for servicing all Urban Life Solutions vehicles and equipment, as well as answering all services calls that come in from field team members.Major Responsibilities:Demonstrate safety leadership and safe work practices at all timesWork in accordance with ULS policies and proceduresInspect truck fleet as per guidelinePerform required oil change maintenanceChange bulbsRotate, repair and replace tiresRecord all items performedRecord brake measurementsBasic/Required Qualifications:Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar roleValid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License and proof of current Driver’s AbstractPossesses own toolsAbility to read and comprehend work ordersEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage tasks in a timely and efficient mannerDemonstrated willingness to learn and succeedAbility to take direction and work independently as well as part of a teamAll successfully candidates must provide a recent criminal record check as part of employmentLegally authorized to Work in Canada with no restrictionsWorking conditions:Working within both indoor and outdoor work environments; ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures, dusty and loud work environmentsMechanical aptitudeFull range of body motion; including repetitive motions which specifically affect upper body useConsiderable standing, walking, squatting, pushing/pulling, grasping, lifting and reachingSome climbing, sitting and drivingManual and finger dexterity as well as eye-hand and foot coordinationAbility to perform tasks involving heavy lifting/carrying of items up to 80lbsJoin our Team.
