And that’s what we do: our customized sand control solutions allow us to respond quickly to the ever-changing variability of our customers vertical and horizontal well operations.With our headquarters in Calgary, and manufacturing facilities in Leduc, we also have field offices in Swift Current, Brooks, Lloydminster, and Provost Alberta.Machine Operator - Wire WrapDepartment: Calgary Manufacturing Reports to: Production Manager Position Summary:Operate semi-automatic and CNC machinery to fabricate wire wrapped screen and related components.Work Schedule: This position will involve long shifts and overtime hours depending on the scope of work and plant activity.Duties:

• Excellent understanding of manufacturing drawings, shop order forms and weld procedures as they relate to wrapping
• Identify tools and materials as per work order
• Configure machinery to produce quality results as per procedures and quality requirements
• Perform quality control checks to ensure product in compliance with work order requirements
• Clearly and legibly complete paperwork as required
• Record and calculate material usage
• Operator forklift and crane training
• Able to read precision measuring equipment
• Ensure tools and machinery are in good working order and maintained
• Required to undertake shop cleaning and regular preventative equipment maintenance
• Adhere to health, safety, and quality policies, as well as all company policies and procedures
• Ensuring all work areas are clean and organized

• Mechanically inclined, ability to use small hand tools and/or power tools

• Strong aptitude to understand drawings
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to follow and understand both oral and written instructions in English
• Grade 12 basic math skills

Qualifications/Requirements

• Grade 12 or GED – additional education past high school would be an asset
• PLC, CNC and other machine operations an asset
• Manufacturing and forklift/overhead crane training or experience an asset
• Good physical fitness
• Stand or walk for long periods of time
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate materials
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs, lift items weighing more than 50 lbs with assistance from other workers, forklift and/or overhead hoist
• Exposure to fine dust and airborne particles, high noise level
