We’re a Calgary-based, owner-operated coffee company with nine cafés plus our roasterie and HQ at the Simmons building in Calgary’s historic East Village. Sebastian and Phil founded the company in 2007 because they believed that the standard of coffee was too low and that the bar needed to be raised. This is still our core purpose today and our never-ending quest!As the Marketing Manager, you’ll take on a senior role within Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters and report directly to the owners. Working primarily out of our headquarters in the Simmons Building, you’ll work closely with Sebastian and Phil to steer the marketing strategy. We’re a small team, so in addition to managing, expect a lot of hands-on “doing” work like copywriting, website editing, product merchandising, and everything in between!Your role will also be key in supporting the development of our culture and will oversee community investment and charitable initiatives, while ensuring that everything within the organization is “on brand” with a consistent look, feel, brand-speak and value-alignment.Things you’ll do:

• Lead creation and execution of a marketing strategy/plan in-line with our core purpose and values.
• Plan and execute on content planning and generation for social media, email marketing and wholesale marketing
• Manage the brand’s PR including copywriting for press releases, media outreach, product seeding, influencer engagement, and public appearances as required
• Manage a digital marketing team, review reports, take action and update the website as needed
• Create schedules and manage all marketing activities to keep the trains running on-time.
• Build and present post campaign reports and analytics, outlining metrics like ROI, ROAS, CPA, CTR
• Work with the cafe and wholesale teams to ensure execution and success with in-cafe and wholesale marketing programs
• Copywriting for marketing materials and the website
• Have fun while doing all of the above!

Experience you have:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role as a Marketing Manager
• University or College degree in Marketing, Business, or Communication is preferred
• Strong copywriting skills
• Experience in e-marketing, analytics and SEO
• Experience managing a team of staff
• Managed multiple projects at one time demonstrating highly capable project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
• Hospitality Industry experience would be an asset

Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per yearSchedule:
