The specially selected CL-215 aerial firefighting aircraft will combine the proven performance of our airframe with modern upgrades to create the next generation of the worlds only purpose-built aerial firefighter and multi-mission amphibious platform.OverviewA winning team is no accident. This role offers a drive for organizational skills with previous warehouse experience. The Stores Associate position is responsible for providing accuracy of incoming parts and physical inventory in our production facility.MAJOR DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES* AND ACCOUNTABILITIES*:

• Verify accuracy of incoming part orders and storing parts in proper location
• Conduct audits to ensure accuracy of physical inventory in warehouse
• Creating report documentation detailing warehouse stock number, inventory, and discrepancies
• Ensuring accuracy of information by performing data entry of logistics, shipping, and receiving
• Coordinate with the Supply Chain team and management during cycle count activities
• Coordinate all physical inventories following company procedures
• Run discrepancy reports, investigating variances, problem solving as necessary, and recommending solutions to management at the warehouse/ distribution facility
• Tracking all relevant warehouse and inventory information with a Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) system and/or a Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System
• Strong attention to detail; ability to differentiate between similar items during receiving, picking and shipping tasks
• Ensure that all warehouse equipment and tools are properly utilized to increase productivity and efficiency
• Utilize proper techniques for lifting, packing, and handling heavy objects, proper cutting techniques, reaching and pushing/pulling
• Ensure that your workstation is neat, safe, and organized following 5S standards
• Responsible for the careful handling of merchandise at all times
• Consistently meet minimum required production, accuracy or quality standards for work performed.
• And other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Valid Material Handling Equipment Ticket an asset (SDCB, High Reach, Power Walkie, or other MHE as required by operations) - willing to train the right candidate
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Warehouse experience is an asset
• Experience with using MRP or ERP systems is an asset
• Experience working in a heavy production environment is an asset
• Previous forklift experience is considered an asset

Working Conditions:

• Environment: Indoors stores/warehouse, occasional outdoors.
• Exposures encountered: Hazardous materials, loud noise, fumes, dust, odors, gases, heat/cold, trips, slips, fall, cuts & lacerations, burns, strains, sprains, tears
• Job hazards: mobile equipment, forklift, pallet jacks, power tools, hand tools.
• Essential physical requirements: stand, kneel, lift, push, pull, carry, walk, stairs.
• Physical effort: medium, lifting up to 50 pounds
• Travel requirements: Occasional
• Work Schedule: Shift rotation including weekend and/or night shifts, on-call or overtime occasionally required
• Emergency staff designations: First Aid, Fire Marshal
