Job Description

Meat CutterStrathcona Square Sobeys is looking for the right person to join our team as a part-time Meat Cutter.This position is responsible for meat cutting, stocking, cleaning the department and providing excellent customer service.JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Cutting meat
  • Stocking products
  • Cleaning
  • Assisting customers
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned by management
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Possess strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Work in a cold work environment
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
  • Meat cutting certificate from a post-secondary institute
OR
  • Minimum of one year meat cutting/meat department experience
