Job Description

Conveniently located in Bridgeland (C-train accessible) near the Calgary Zoo, we are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated individual who wants a long-term and stable career in eye care and optometry.Browz Eyeware has been providing optometric care for over 15 years. We pride ourselves on providing expert care, exceptional customer service and quality products. We have the latest diagnostic technologies, large frame selection and full-scope service (specialty contact lenses, vision therapy, myopia control and advance ocular disease management).At least 1 year of experience in an optometric setting is preferred.Some of the responsibilities are as follow:

  • Pre-testing/preparing patients for the doctor
  • Booking and registering patients, and processing insurance
  • Training patients to insert/remove contact lenses
  • Educating patients how to best choose frame and lens based on their prescription, lifestyle and face shape
  • Ensure accuracy in taking optical measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear
  • Verify that finished eyewear meets customer requirements and requests
  • Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge
