Gold’s Gym Calgary is looking to immediately hire the right individual, for the position of Membership Consultant.As a Membership Consultant will provide a unique positive client experience from welcoming our members, touring our facilities, selling our Gym memberships and increasing and strengthen our already Iconic brand. You will have the opportunity to make commission and bonuses in addition to your guaranteed wage.Major Responsibilities are (but not limited to)· Increase our membership base by converting member prospects into members, and properly qualifying all sales potentials and selling the best product.· Personal and positive interaction with members and potential members via person, telephone or email in order to provide clear and concise information about membership programs and services.· Proactively engage with members to help build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.· Meets or exceeds weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals as determined by the Sales/General ManagerContinuous tracking and reporting of daily activities.Qualifications and Requirements:· Minimum 2 years sales experience, preferably in a fitness industry setting.· Proved experience of your performance sales track record.· Knowledge of sales/business development, sales activity reporting, general marketing, resource management.Skills· Self-starting skills with a driving attitude.· Recognition of all opportunities, to give every member, or potential member, the very best Gold standard treatment· Must have the ability to work under pressure, enjoy the ‘challenge’ and push to reach your goal!· Excellent Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.· Excellent communication and client service skills to express our unique way of showing the Gold’s Gym lifestyle.· Willing to learn new software to effectively keep track of daily activities and results.· Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people, diversity is an important part of the culture in our company.
