Expocrete an Oldcastle company is now hiring for a permanent full-time Merchandiser for Alberta and AreaJob Responsibilities: · Merchandise and build displays and ad hoc displays as required with Expocrete dealers· Responsible for the care and maintenance of display and merchandise materials to ensure that displays create visual appeal· Manage marketing material to ensure adequate stock is available (e.g. tags, banners and brochures)· Maintain house-keeping practices in assigned work areas including merchandising tent and area· May support in the coordination of any special external or internal events such as demo-days and trade-shows· Pulling from inventory display products from Expocrete Yards· Loading of Displays and display racks and materials into/onto your vehicle· Assist in the loading and unloading of deliveries of marketing materials including samples· Create and maintain positive working relationships with dealers and commercial customers as well as existing Key Account Managers· May provide product knowledge training to customers· Commuting throughout Alberta, East Kootenays and occasional support in Saskatchewan to different projects, customers, and sitesKnowledge, Skills & Abilities: · Prior merchandising experience is considered an asset· Forklift training and certificate would be an asset· Must possess a valid driver’s license & reliable appropriate vehicle· Must be able to travel overnight· Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)· Must be comfortable working with hand & power tools to build displays, etc.· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 85 pounds occasionally, frequently climb, frequently walking; must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors (cold/hot weather)· Must be reliable and able to work independentlyJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $22.00-$25.00 per hourExperience:
