We are passionate about growing a safe and successful future for our people and our clients.Job ScopeThe successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the manufacturing process of innovative Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) equipment.Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production flow and repair & maintenance activities
  • Participate in production schedule, budget, and resource allocation planning
  • Champion inventory routines: receiving, stock, release to manufacturing, operations, or R&D
  • Ensure proper QC inspections
  • Establish and maintain documentation and procedures according to API Q1
  • Collaborate with design team to acquire API 16RCD certification
  • Collaborate with R&D team on design of testing equipment and procedures
  • Engage in purchasing and communication with vendors
  • Understand and comply with all company safety rules and policies
  • Abide to Opla core values
Qualifications And Education Requirements
  • University Degree, or Technical Diploma in a relevant field, or 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with inventory systems
  • Experience with API, ISO standards
  • Demonstrated experience in managing change
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing principles
  • Ability to travel to remote locations in Canada and USA
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated with the ability to prioritize workloads
  • Previous experience with MPD/oilfield/drilling is considered an asset
