As such, we welcome talented individuals that have a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, and industry experience who will contribute to the success of our One Parkland team.Position Title: National Facilities ManagerTeam and Location: Retail - Calgary, AB l Montreal, QC l GTHA, ONPosition Summary:Accountable for the repair and maintenance of Retail and Commercial facilities as well as construction projects at existing operating Retail facilities for Canada. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the creation and execution of annual repair and maintenance operational expense and maintenance capital budgets, leading a team of Regional Facility Managers and Facility Specialists in maintaining Parkland Canada’s Retail and Commercial Facilities to ensure safe and sustainable operations that meet Parkland’s standards, specifications and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Ensure repair, maintenance and construction at operating Canadian facilities are completed in cost effective and timely manner to attain safe and sustainable operations.Creation and execution of Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs to ensure safe & sustainable operations and maximization of operational life of Parkland assets.Lead the Regional Facility Managers in the planning, creation and execution of annual repair and maintenance operational expense and maintenance capital budgets.Ensure the Facility Management Software Platform is operating in the most efficient and effective manner including the monitoring of existing reporting, the creation and management of additional reporting and functionality to continuously improve the effectiveness as it relates to maintaining Parkland’s assets.Planning, creation and execution of upgrade programs to ensure Parkland standards are maintained in the most cost-effective manner.Ensure Parkland’s Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards are maintained at all operating Retail and Commercial Facilities in Canada.Monitoring, reviewing and recommendation of current Parkland standards in efforts to continuously improve the safe and sustainable operations of Retail & Commercial Facilities.Monitor all regulatory bodies within Canada and ensure that all facilities meet or exceed all licensing, regulatory and operational requirements of all authorities having jurisdiction.Qualifications and Skills:10-15 years experience in the construction and maintenance of Retail & Commercial facilities in the Petroleum Industry.Advanced knowledge of practices, procedures and standards for maintenance and construction of buildings, HVAC equipment, petroleum equipment, food preparation equipment, car wash equipment, lighting and signage.Knowledge of various applicable codes and regulations, fire, electrical, plumbing, building, safety, fuel handling, Measurement Canada and environmental.Completed university degree and combination of experience.Strong analytical and procedural skills.Motivated self-starter with good leadership, strong planning and time management abilities.Highly organized with excellent planning and time management abilities.We Offer:Our Performance-based Annual Incentive Plan, an annual bonus awarding your performance.A share in our success through the Employee Share Purchase Plan and 100% company matching.A flexible group benefit plan that offers health and dental coverage choices to meet the needs of each unique employee.
