  • The ideal candidate will support and Monitor the environment, we require a Network admin contractor with strong hands on SolarWinds background
Network Administrator - SolarWinds - Responsibilities
  • Monitoring of the environment we require a Network admin contractor with strong hands on SolarWinds background, to perform the following:
  • Work with each of the asset owners to document the Events, Alerts, Reports and Dashboards they would like configured in Orion.
  • Add Devices and configure the Events, Alerts (set thresholds), Reports in Orion based on the requirements gathered in an iterative approach.
    • Some custom properties will need to be developed for those attributes that are not out-of-the box in Orion.
  • Review existing reports & create new reports based upon management requirements.
  • Cross-train our clients employees on configuration Events, Alerts, Reports, and Dashboards so the setup can be sustained
Network Administrator - SolarWinds - Must have Skills:
  • The ideal resource will be a network professional who has a proven experience in SolarWinds implementation (monitoring, alerts & reporting).The Work Products (Deliverables):
  • Field Monitoring Set up
  • Documentation on out-of-the-box & custom monitoring scripts
  • Availability, outage, problem areas report
  • Dashboard with trends both service wise and geographical.
  • Could be more depends upon the requirements
