Work Nicer Coworking - Nicer ChampionAre you ready for a new opportunity that’s all about building community Work Nicer Coworking, Alberta’s number one coworking community, is looking for a new Nicer Champion to lead the charge at its newest Calgary outpost in the south of the city!Founded in 2015, born out of the foundational belief in community, Work Nicer has since grown to Alberta’s largest coworking community with four outposts in Calgary and two in Edmonton. Originally started by 10 friends rallying together, there are now 1,300+ members who call Work Nicer home, a place to work, play and do what they do best.As a member of the Work Nicer team you will be focused on building community, by keeping the Work Nicer outposts running smoothly and enhancing the experience of Work Nicer members.Work Nicer doesn’t do ordinary job titles, and you will be able to pick your own fun title! Think of this as a Super Community Manager…BUT BETTER and way more fun!This is a full time position based at Work Nicer Sundance in Calgary, and comes with it some awesome benefits as being part of Work Nicer’s team. The Role!As the Nicer Champion you are the frontline of Work Nicer, the face of the community and the values it stands for. You’re driven by providing preposterous value to members, enabling dramatic impact, and most importantly, doing what’s hard and what’s right for the community.With the Work Nicer Sundance outpost under your watch, you are the on-the-ground champion for members’ experience at Work Nicer. Armed with an eagle eye, you are constantly aware of your surroundings and never stop looking for issues that could arise and how to solve them. You have one eye on the people around you at all times, looking for lost or frustrated faces, and springing up to help them.As the champion for the Sundance outpost, you’re familiar with all members in your outpost, constantly thinking of ways to enhance their experience as a Work Nicer member. You’re in consistent contact with members based at your Outpost, you’re aware of their likes and dislikes, can manage challenging conversations with them and are constantly learning about their business, needs and how we can help! You’ll be their person, their first point of contact if they want to chat about changes to their membership, want to give feedback and more. These are your members, and you always want what’s best for them and the Work Nicer community.Youre also a doer of all trades, from tapping fresh beer kegs to helping members with tech issues, nothing gets past you. Despite the many things on your plate, you remain unflappable in the face of potential chaos and thrive during a fast-paced day. You are all about members and community, and you love the challenge of improving the Work Nicer experience every day. No two days will ever be the same!The ideal Nicer Champion has:

• Two or more years of experience in customer service, attractions, tourism, or hospitality related roles
• Experience in sales / account management
• Great conversational skills, a friendly and positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile for the Work Nicer community because that is who we are here for
• An eagerness and excitement to learn and grow as a human and as a professional - curiosity is a must!
• Dependable, reliable and committed
• Is an independent self-starter, who likes to take initiative and find solutions to problems and is proactive
• The ability to organize your time and prioritize what you need to do
• The ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays when required
• Comfort getting down to the nitty gritty of outpost care. Some heavy lifting will be required; moving of supplies and furniture, changing kegs, building furniture etc.
• A driver’s license. Your workplace will be mobile, so access to a car is preferred but a valid drivers license is a must.
• A great sense of humour and don’t take yourself too seriously. The team works closely together and often pokes fun at one another - all in good taste. But anyone who dishes it out can also take it!
