Job Description

Company descriptionLegacy Estates Somerset is an independent living 55+ condominium in SW Calgary, consisting of 141 individually owned units. We offer a pay as you use dining room, along with recreational facilities.Job descriptionRequired Work Experience

  • Must have previous condominium or apartment management experience,
  • Must have previous accounting or bookkeeping experience, preference given to those with SAGE experience,
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal and communications skills.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience working with an aging demographic,
  • Food Service Management,
  • Maintenance coordination,
  • Project management experience,
  • Able to multi task in a fast paced environment.
The Operations Manager oversees the day to day business of Legacy Estates Somerset under the direction of the Board of Directors. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Front office duties,
  • Tenant and realtor relations,
  • Oversees food services and maintenance, with the assistance of the chef and building operator,
  • Day to day accounting with the assistance of a part time bookkeeper and board treasurer,
  • Liaises with corporation lawyers and accountants when necessary,
  • Liaises with contractors as necessary.
