Job Description

PDR Hail Team is a fast growing, innovative paintless dent repair company. Based in Calgary, we serve clients across the country, including leading insurance and automotive dealers, and are widely regarded as the industry leader. We hire bright, ambitious minds looking for an opportunity to build a business and transform an industry as part of a dynamic, hardworking and fun team.As our Operations Manager you will oversee daily dent assessment and repair operations. You enjoy and excel at coordinating team members and troubleshooting daily challenges to deliver exceptional results for clients. You are a team player and will support our excellent service delivery by working longer hours during peak months (June-December).Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Managing vehicle production flow in Calgary and other cities as required
  • Assessing vehicle damage (including identifying prior damage) and creating an estimate in compliance with our partners requirements
  • Educating our customers on the paintless dent repair (PDR) process
  • Booking in customers after their appraisal - strive to maintain & improve the companies closing ratio
  • Enforcing our quality control procedures
  • Following and enforcing our internal procedures
  • Addressing efficiently and effectively any comeback issues
  • Coordinating sublet vendors and parts
  • Travel across Canada is required
Qualifications- most of the following:
  • 10 years of work experience, 5 years in administration & managing people
  • Operations experience in auto body repair
  • Prior estimating experience at a collision repair facility, appraisal company or insurance company an asset but not required
  • Prior sales experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel for extended periods
  • Bilingual in French is an asset but not required
Skills – most of the following:
  • Strong interpersonal skills; customer facing and team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Software
  • Working knowledge of Audatex/Mitchell an asset but not required
  • Enthusiastic and motivating leadership style – hands on
  • Attention to detail
  • Well organized, ability to handle multiple complex competing tasks
  • Team player, strong work ethic, self-motivated
  • Committed to communicating 7 days/week
  • Fluent with iPhones
  • Available on weekends during peak season (June-December)
