A passion for quality combined with efficiency to provide world class solutions and ensure compliance and overall customer satisfaction.This position would report to the Chief Technical Officer and would have the following key responsibilities:Champion the implementation of continuous improvement programs for process driven work.Oversee and manage all aspects of the project fabrication process to ensure adherence to quality standards, budget, schedule, change management, scope, requirements, and all project related specifications.Be a technical subject matter expert within a cross-functional team to provide operational effectiveness, efficiency, serviceability, and a high level of repeatable quality for Eneon’s complex Energy Storage Systems.Track the progress and quality of work being performed by design disciplines/trades.Ensure all communications are properly conducted between the client, vendors, suppliers, contractors and the Project Team, including the Project Manager.Act as site liaison for the entire project fabrication cycle.Plan and provide detailed production plans to support project development and fabricationContribute as a technical fabrication subject matter expert for the Battery Energy Storage Systems.What’s in it for you:Market competitive salaryExtended Health and Dental PlanEmployee and Family Assistance Program11 Statutory Holidays per year.Ground floor opportunity to be part of the next frontier in energy storage.What you bring to us:At least 5 - 10 years of directly related experience to the above Key Responsibilities.Technical diploma or Journeyman Certification from a registered post-secondary institution in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline.Experience with DC systems ranging from 48 to 1500 VDC.Knowledge of NEC, CEC, UL9540 and NFPA 855 standardsPrevious production management for large scale electrical systems and/or buildingsPrior experience working with inverter, converter, rectifier systems.Prior experience working with energy storage devices (electrochemical batteries, flow cells, fuel cells, CAES, etc.)Current Forklift ticket an asset.Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems.Willingness to travel (North America) to support project delivery.Possess the ability to adapt and learn new concepts and technologies quickly.Working knowledge of HVAC systems including conventional cooling and heat exchanging.Current holder of a PMP designation in good standing with PMI is considered an asset.Member of a professional technical association considered an asset.Must have a commitment to the vision, culture and mission of Eneon ES Inc.SOLV4EX is a global management organization that serves the growing needs of the four companies which make up the SOLV4EX Group: Discover Battery, Canadian Energy, Discover Manufacturing and Eneon-ES.
