Job Title – Order Control SpecialistDepartment – FinanceReports to – Accounting Supervisor*Job Summary*The Order Control Specialist is primarily responsible to work with and support the Sales and Operations teams, with a focus on entering all confirmed equipment specifications into the Sales Orders and confirming the delivery of goods in a timely matter.Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Review all confirmed sales order documentation and communicate to Operations Coordinator for corrective actions if required
  • Enter all correct confirmed sales order and documentation through the ERP system to place order demand onto Manufacturing
  • Communicate with Management on daily operations
  • Maintain the company’s order processing procedures
  • Work closely with inventory and logistics team, to record, track and monitor inventory
  • Provide support and problem solving to Operations for order accuracy
  • Track order status placed on manufacturing as required
  • Review Post Job FSO workbook documentation to ensure all is correct
  • Send all correct Post Job FSO documentation to Finance department for invoicing
  • Ensure compliance with government and client requirements
  • Support and uphold HS&E policies and procedures of NCS and the customer
  • Align individual goals with NCS’s corporate goals, while adhering to the NCS Promise
  • Participate in Personal Development for Success (PDS)
  • Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent; required
  • Technical or Business Diploma or Degree; asset
  • 3 – 5 years of industry related experience; required
  • Related experience, preferably in oilfield technology development and oilfield services; asset
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP; asset
  • Work with other teams, and exhibit effective communication
  • Excellent organization skills, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of efficiency & work ethic, specific attention to details
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
Additional Information
  • Status: Overtime Exempt
  • Employment Classification: Full-time, Temporary (12-month contract)
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm, option to apply for the Hybrid Work Program
  • Special Equipment: Cellphone and Laptop
  • Travel: 5% domestic and international travel may be required
  • Criminal background check required for all positions
  • Safety sensitive positions will require additional pre-employment testing
